You’ll absolutely love this crawfish salad, like tuna salad with a sweeter, spicy twist. I use pre-cooked tails sold in a vacuum-sealed bag. Serve with fresh lettuce or toasted baguettes.

Ingredients

  • I pound cooked crawfish tail meat , thawed if frozen
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 4 green onions, green and white parts chopped
  • 2 tablespoons drained capers
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ancho chili paste
  • 1 teaspoon blackened seasoning

Steps

  1. Drain tails. Rinse tails; drain again. Add tails, celery, green onions, and capers to a large bowl.
  2. Stir mayonnaise, ancho chili paste, and blackened seasoning together in a small bowl; gently stir into crawfish mixture until well combined
